JERSEY INFERNO

The Jersey Inferno is NYARA’s newest adventure race. Participants will have 10 hours to work their way through some hellish northern New Jersey terrain on mountain bikes, kayaks and on foot. Teams of 2, 3 or 4 are welcome and will be treated to a new course with great views.

The Jersey Inferno is also a USARA Regional Qualifying race. We will be combining the co-ed 3 person and co-ed 4 person teams into the “premier” category. The top 3 co-ed teams in the “premier” category will be eligible to compete in the USARA National Championship Race. In addition, . . .

Tour de Creek - 2 Man Challenge

What is the Tour De Creek?  The Tour De Creek is a team challenge event where teams of 2 riders will compete in various skill challenges around the mountain to crown the best all-around group of riders.  It is an event that is focused on fun and the simple joy of hanging out with your friends and riding your bikes. 

Date:  Saturday July 7^th

Format: 2 Person Teams.  Individual riders will earn points based on finish placement in 5 distinct skills challenges.  The team with the most cumulative points at the end of the event wins.

The 5K Trail loop begins at the base of South Peak Terrain Park inside KINK (the bar in the Lodge). The loop will immediately head up hill on Kamikaze, cut over to Big Bear and the Summit of Bear Mountain, then traversing through the woods on ATV trails to Red Tail to reach the summit of South Peak at 1440 ft. After passing an aid station at the summit you will head downhill using BLUE Trails (medium difficulty) to get back to the base of the Mountain. There you will reenter the building and . . .

Tri-State Super Spartan Race

The Super Spartan obstacle race provides an 8+ mile battlefield of insane mud running with 15 or more obstacles to test your physical strength and mental resolve. This mud fest of a race will have many trials to push you to your limits that any man or woman with resolve can complete! This endurance race conists of mud runs, trails, and both mental and physical obstacles and challenges. The good news is that after you complete your painful journey, there will be live music and a catered meal to soothe your aching joints. World Vertical Challenge

King of the Mountain: Enduro Race

What is the King of the Mountain All-Mountain Enduro Race?  It is an event that is open to riders of all ability levels which will incorporate various aspects of Mountain Biking including: downhill, cross-country and trail riding.  Enduro racing combines the best elements of racing and group riding by allowing participants to experience the thrills and challenges of racing while still enjoying the social aspects of riding with friends.

This event will have a "Ladies Ride Day" with a discount on lift and rentals.  In addition Redbull MTX vehicle will be onsite with a mobile DJ.

TLD and SPY will also be in attendance, this is a last call for Gravity Racers to get their last DH race at MCBP for 2013, do not miss it!
